I feel it is so important that we ‘get on’ with each other and that I am the kind of person that you would like to create and deliver your ceremony. Every relationship is different and therefore every ceremony I deliver will be different and reflect you as a couple.

In this initial contact we can discuss the dates and venues that you are considering (or have already booked) and any ideas and visions that you may have about your ceremony. If you don’t have any ideas at this point then don’t worry - as I have lots of different ideas and some you may think - actually I would love to include that.

For us to see if I can help you to create your bespoke ceremony, this initial contact is free and there is no-obligation to book me. We can do this in person, or over Google Meet / Zoom depending on which is easiest for you. I would like if possible for you both to be on the call or at the meeting. This is because we will be working really closely together and you both have to see if we get on.

I would encourage you to take time to decide if I am the right celebrant for you after our meeting. I will follow up this initial contact after a week - unless you have contacted me before then with your decision.

If you do decide to book me - that’s fantastic and we can get the ball rolling.

I require a non-refundable booking fee of £150 and this will secure your date. I will also send out a contract of services for you to sign.

I will never book another ceremony on your wedding day, as then I will be able to give you my full attention and ensure that everything goes as smoothly as possible.

Wedding & Vow renewal Ceremonies

I accept bookings up to three years in advance and once you have paid your non-refundable booking fee, the total fee will not increase - for any reason. (You may need to reschedule for lots of different reasons, and if I am available for your new date, you will be able to move your ceremony, without a rebooking fee).

I also accept short notice bookings if the date is free as long as it is at least 3 months before your wedding / vow renewal date - so I can properly create your perfect ceremony.

Naming Ceremonies

These can be booked as far in advance as you would like - but it needs to be at least 6 weeks before the ceremony for me to create the peronalised script to give you the ceremony you would like.

Weddings / Vow Renewals - 

For your ceremony to reflect you both, I need to know what is important and special to you - so approximately 6 months before your ceremony date I will send you a detailed questionnaire to complete. (You can complete this together or separately.)

We will then have a meeting approximately 4-5 months before your ceremony date. This needs to be in person and will take approximately 1 - 2 hours. You can choose where this will take place. (We can meet in your home, or at your venue if you would like to chat through your ideas here.)

I will have read your questionnaire answers and begun to get a feel of you individually and as a couple. I will have lots more questions for you in this meeting that will help me to craft your ceremony.

We will then work closely together during the months leading up to your wedding. This can be either through face-time, email, whatsapp, or further in-person meetings (depending on which is easier for you.)

This can be for any ideas you would like to include in the ceremony - help sourcing readings, poems, items for rituals, help writing vows (individually or together) Ideas of how to honour loved ones who cannot be at the ceremony, who you would like to include in your ceremony - children / parents / friends and if you would like them to have a special role.

Naming - 

After the initial contact - I will send you a questionnaire so I can find out what is important and special to you all.

I want to ensure that your naming ceremony reflects you as a family, your beliefs and values and help you to celebrate this special milestone.

We will then organise a meeting to discuss all your ideas and how you envision the ceremony. We can chat about what you would like to be included, poems, songs, rituals, and whether you would like to include other family members and ‘guide-parents’ and if you would like them to perform any readings / rituals / songs.

I will then craft and create your ceremony based on all the information I have and we will discuss how much of the ceremony script you would like to see from the first draft. 

Some wedding couples do not want to see each other’s vows as they want them to be heartfelt and magical on the day. 

Some couples / families don’t want to see the script at all and it is all a surprise on the day, so they can fully immerse themselves into the moment with their guests. Others want to help create it and ask to see everything.

I will work with you to ensure you have as much, or as little input as you would like in this part of the process. 

I offer a final consultation to ensure everyone has peace of mind that the ceremony will be just as you imagined it.

Additionally, if you like, we can rehearse the ceremony at the location of your choice, so that you will gain confidence and a better understanding of the event.

As your celebrant, I'm here to help you throughout the process by answering any questions, brainstorming and being supportive in any way I can.

I will arrive at your venue one hour before the ceremony and will liaise with the venue staff and other suppliers to ensure that everything is in place to run smoothly.

I will welcome your guests upon their arrival, and ensure that all those involved in the ceremony are well-informed of their roles, locations, and the proceedings.

If you are getting ready at the venue, I will be there to help calm your nerves if you have any.

As the ceremony starts, I will conduct it calmly, professionally, with warmth, energy and enthusiasm to ensure you and your guests can enjoy every minute of it. Be reassured I will guide you through each step so you don’t have to remember all of it.

You can be confident that I will be in control of the whole process, and create a ceremony that will be an unforgettable experience for everyone present.

Planning a ceremony can leave a person feeling a bit apprehensive about potential fees that may have been overlooked. I can provide you with a thorough breakdown of the costs after we've discussed your ceremony.

Wedding and Vow Renewal Fee: Starting at £675 for a ceremony without any rituals. 

Payable in three instalments.

Naming Ceremony Fee: Starting at £350 for a ceremony without any rituals.

What my fee includes for all ceremonies -

♥ Free Initial Consultation to decide if I am the celebrant for your ceremony. (Over Zoom / Facetime)

♥ A Ceremony Questionnaire.

♥ A Face to Face Meeting to discuss your thoughts and plans about your ceremony in a lot more detail.

♥ Regular check-ins and set up a couple / family WhatsApp group.

♥ Information about poems, readings and symbolic ritual ideas to incorporate into your ceremony.

♥ Professional and Individually crafted ceremony scripting and revisions.

♥ The conducting of your ceremony on your chosen date and exclusivity for that date.

♥ Celebration Certificate.

♥ Flower girl and page boy certificates (If you would like to include these for the wedding ceremony).

♥ Supporting adults declaration certificates (If you would like to include these for the naming ceremony).

Any additional costs will be discussed in our initial chat and the price agreed within that meeting will not change, unless you decide to add any more elements to the ceremony. 

An invoice will be generated and the expected payment dates included. If you do decide to include anything extra, then the cost of this will be added to the final payment.

Non - refundable deposit of £150 -

within 7 days of the initial confirmation of booking with me. This will secure your date with me and I will not book any other ceremonies for that day.

Interim payment of 40% of total cost -

8 weeks before your ceremony.

Final Payment of the remaining balance -

4 weeks before your ceremony.

I am based on the Cheshire, North Wales and Shropshire borders, but am willing to travel, so some additional costs may be payable, such as travel and accomodation expenses. These are excluded from the price of the ceremony.

Travel / Accomodation charges -

I am incredibly happy to travel - including destination weddings, but you will have to cover the cost of my travels, once I have passed the 25-mile mark on roads via Google maps (Approximately an hour's drive) Additional mileage charges apply at 45p per mile. 

Also, if I have to get a train, plane, or ferry past the 25 mile mark, then this will be an additional cost for the couple and is not included in the cost of the ceremony.

If I need to travel some distance, that means setting off before 7 am, or not getting home until 10 pm or later – I need a place to stay. It doesn't need to be expensive, as long as it is close to the wedding venue, safe and clean. I want to make sure that I can be the best I can for your wedding ceremony and am not over-tired from travelling.
